Pub at end of week 1 at the Soak, usually has good attendance. Its a nice pub and a chill environment for people to talk to eachother over a few drinks (also my personal favourite).

Make sure you book enough room (like atleast 50 people imo) and that you actually have people to go there, instead of leaving the freshers there on their own like we did in 2025 (i wasn't on committee at the time so it wasn't my fault).

To book it just call them up, just make sure you do it early enough because otherwise you might be forced to go onto the roof bar which can be cold around the end of September.
